Searching for that Happy Medium

I'm a college senior trying to make my way in the world. I have bipolar but don't let that stop me from doing what I want to do! I don't think of it as a chronic illness, but rather as a genetic sensitivity to the world that occasionally leads to ill times. I strive to change perceptions regarding mental 'illness' and spread the hope that my family, friends and I have found. In the mean time, I'm just looking for balance in my life.

So one of my leaflets says if you are drunk and have ADHD, it is a completely different feeling to how people without ADHD feel when drunk.

It used to be that people could never tell whether I was drunk or sober. I’d sometimes act drunk when actually sober, or sober when drunk…. lol
