Searching for that Happy Medium
I'm a college senior trying to make my way in the world. I have bipolar but don't let that stop me from doing what I want to do! I don't think of it as a chronic illness, but rather as a genetic sensitivity to the world that occasionally leads to ill times. I strive to change perceptions regarding mental 'illness' and spread the hope that my family, friends and I have found. In the mean time, I'm just looking for balance in my life.

Question:
So, I found out that there is an Active Minds chapter at my school, but I haven’t figured out how to get involved. Do any of you know what Active Minds does and how to get involved? I found a Facebook page for my school’s chapter, but didn’t get a response to my question about how to get involved and school’s out for the semester… So, it’ll be a while before I can find out from campus officials (and honestly, I usually get the run-around when I ask campus officials anyhow…).
So, yeah. Does anyone have any ideas? -
